I did use sprouts in the 1970's. They were big then in salads, but I don't use them any more. If Anne had a fairly slow transition process , then she is 100 times smarter than me. My biggest mistake - and only real mistake, was believing everything I read and giving up everything at once like I did; coffee, tea, sugar, white flour, white rice and everything else I grew up eating and drinking, but like a lot of other people it led to binge eating and ' cheating '. I never had a food problem before that. I would just eat and get on with life like most people. I didn't have a life threatening illness so there was no real rush. I should have changed my way of eating very very slowly and improved my diet in an evolutionary manner, rather then in a revolutionary way, but I didn't know any better. Maybe that is one of the keys for some people - to transition very very slowly.
