Have you noticed an uptick of vegans who have been scared into buying expensive DHA supplements to “prevent Alzheimer’s?” Today we look at the latest study being touted to claim Omega-3 pills can save your brain. You probably haven’t heard what that study actually showed – that omega-3 supplements, like popular algae-derived DHA many vegans are taking – are useless to protect against dementia! 🙂 I do not recommend omega-3 supplements of any kind, and as a vegan for almost 30 years, I don’t recommend animal products.
