Dr. Stephan Esser is a board-certified non-operative sports medicine and spine specialist. Dr. Esser received his medical degree from the University of South Florida College of Medicine in Tampa, FL. He then completed his residency at the Harvard University Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in Boston, MA, and a sports medicine fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL.

Dr. Esser uses non-invasive methods to return patients to their normal functionality, adding another crucial layer to the abilities of Southeast Orthopedic Specialists.

In his free time, Dr. Esser enjoys gardening and playing tennis, as he is a former pro and the current director of the Florida Institute of Tennis, which he founded.
