Hi Deb,

Try this!

Chinese Garlic Sauce

1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup vegetable broth
1 Tbs cornstarch
2 – 3 tsps vegan sugar (to taste)
1/2 tsp rice vinegar (or other vinegar)
1 tsp ginger powder
Dash of white pepper
1 tsp dark sesame oil (optional, but adds a lot of flavor)
2 - 3 garlic cloves, peeled and pressed

In a small saucepan, whisk everything together.
Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
Immediately turn heat to medium-low.
Continue to heat, stirring constantly,
for 2 – 3 minutes, until sauce is thickened and translucent.
Serve over desired stir-fried veggies and/or tofu,
or serve as a side sauce, as desired.

Store leftovers in fridge for up to 3 days.
