In the Living Nutritionn Bookstore there is a book on the dangers of salt entitiled the Salt
Conspiracy by Victoria Bidwell. That is one place to start.

In brief it is addictive, disrupts your ability to taste foods with their full intensity by
agrivating the tastes buds, causes water retention, can hinder sleep and athleticism and
dehydrates you, among other things. If you were stuck out at sea and dying of thirst you
could drink all the sea water you wanted and still die, maybe even faster. Doesn't it also
seem a bit odd that water is one of our primary nutrients and yet we take the poison of salt
out of the water and then consume the salt... not the water?

Hope this helps,
Lennie
