Hi Jane

Before going raw, and eventually fruit-based raw (that's
the term I prefer to use), I had some serious gum
issues. Specifically, I had a gum disease, and although
treated via standard cleaning procedure, my issues with
plaque persisted. That is, despite doing my very best, I
could never clean my teeth to the level I desired. Going
raw changed that completely, and my dentist informed me
that my gums have improved dramatically. I go for a
scale and clean procedure sometimes, but, unlike before,
there is hardly any work for the dentist to do (and very
little discomfort for me too). I do not observe the
plaque build-up that I have before.

You may wish to ask Anne Osborne. She has been
completely fruitarian for a very long time. Her son is
fruitarian too. I met them both one wonderful fruity
day. I am not aware of their dental habits but their
teeth are in good shape. :)
