I said '' any sensible diet '', I didn't say '' any sensible plant based diet ''. Any sensible diet can either be vegan or non vegan, and most of the healthy long lived people studied were neither 100% raw not 100% vegan, but ate mostly plant based food. You can't isolate one item like diet out of a whole different lifestyle. It's about as scientific as Dougs 80 /10 /10 with a 99% failure / abandonment rate. You're just defending the indefensible.

I'm not in any camp , just the truth camp. People can eat what they find suits their body, but let's be honest about it.

Over 50 years ago when I was young people were dropping dead left right and centre with heart attacks. In those days doctors and researchers ( the same people you reference) didn't believe diet had anything to do with coronary disease. I don't know if Nathan Pritikin was the one who changed it all, but even the Medical profession believes it now and people are eating healthier than ever and people who eat healthier are having less coronary disease than ever.

Most of these studies that researchers do are so superficial.
