Fruit based diets such as 80/10/10 are extremely rich in vitamin C, yet as you've seen it does very little, if not nothing to balance the copper in these individuals. Even given the notion that most of these people still cheat with occasional animal foods and other cooked vegan foods.

To your post about getting 4-5 times more iron, as another method to help reduce copper isn't a good idea in my opinion. High iron is very problematic and not a healthy method to reduce copper.

High iron can promote the growth of cancer for starters. We need BALANCE when it comes to diet, not IMBALANCE. High iron will lower chromium also due to its relationship, so again like i say we need mineral balance, and creating further mineral imbalances doesn't help in my opinion.
