increase copper absorption, and given that fruit and
vegetable diets are reasonably low in iron and zinc
can also create a problem, and we see this in
reduced sex drives and other things. And the other
issue is that many vegan diets have extremely high
manganese levels, and this further complicates the
process, so many of us could be doing things much
better than we are. We need to look at all the
mineral intereactions and not just zinc and copper.

And lets not think that iron from spinach and kale
and various foods is going to always be of help,
because it could be the case that the iron can be
bound up. I think l recall Dr Rick telling me that
people eating high iron foods ended up being
deficient because of anti nutrient binding. Bringing
the body up to a state where we can break down anti
nutrients well can also be important for people to
greatly improve metabolism. There is much to this
copper/zinc would be easy to write a book
on it because there is so much that could be said
