There is a way to get around the copper/zinc inbalance. Various minerals interact with copper and zinc that we can use to re-adjust the balance. For eg, increasing iron with high copper foods will reduce copper absorption. Getting much of your calcium from chia instead of relying always on sesame or poppy will also keep copper levels more in check, + the chia has a good balance of zinc/copper. Having good amounts of magnesium, selenium and vbitamin C also reduces copper absortion. There are many other stategies that can be employed and l have written about them on a certain website.
