"K said: Which came first ?"

Did you skim read any of my 5 other posts ? Or check our TSM's recommendation of Dr Sinatra on heart disease ?

Clearly not, because if you did you would have read that inflammation comes first.

Even then like i said cholesterol isn't a brilliant marker for detecting heart disease, as many out-dated vegan doctors believe. The reason why cholesterol is a poor marker in the diagnostic of heart disease, as newer research has found over 50% of heart attacks occur in individuals with LOW or NORMAL CHOLESTEROL levels.

This alone shows us that A: Cholesterol isn't the prime cause of heart disease and B: that it isn't a reliable marker for detecting heart disease. You can have perfect or even low cholesterol and still have heart disease. There are also other causes of high cholesterol that don't involve the heart such as thyroid disorders and liver problems.

As i also said before, cholesterol is the vital healing agent that the body releases in response to inflammation and injury. Without cholesterol we would be dead.

The problem occurs when the causes of inflammation aren't tackled. Some common causes of arterial inflammation include elevated homo-cysteine, diabetes, lack of omega-3s, diets rich in inflammatory foods and low adrenal function/low cortisol for example. The body keeps releasing cholesterol to deal with the inflammation, but it because the source isn't dealt with, cholesterol begins to build up and we have arterial plaque formation.

Again its not fair to blame cholesterol here, because as newer research shows, its arterial inflammation which is the true cause of heart disease.

As to your reasons, why all these recent raw gurus failed, you believe it was because they ate too much fat. Well for a start that is incorrect, because the raw gurus i mentioned were all 80/10/10 and 30 BAD, high carb, low fat fruit based vegans. If you had listened to many of these gurus they will actually tell you 10% fat was far too low for them.

Why would i need to query the gurus ? Its fairly public knowledge that the examples i listed are back eating cooked foods, considering they make public youtube videos telling and showing us what they now eat.
