All l know is that l do far better on a raw sprout diet than l ever did on any other diet. It has taken me years to get the diet where it works for me perfectly. I was on good energy 90% of the time, but now l am firing on all cylinders at 100% energy constantly since l added in salt, saturated fat (coconut fat and increase cholesterol) and added in hydrilla green algae.

I never had energy on any other diet. My adjustment to the sprout diet took a long time to get right. My honeymoon period on raw was very short lived before l was out in the cold and had to find my way and make it work. I was never like those ones that were high for the first few years...I was low after three months and had to climb my way up the ladder to success. I have had many challenges to sustain energy along the way and l have been able to experiment and find answers through shere determination. I have learned much and have gone from strength to strength and now l have surpassed what l could never have dreamed of.

Raw vegan diets can be very very powerful, and l feel cooked or animal products is not where it needs to be with me. It can't be fruit and it can't be vegetables needs to be ferments, sprouted seeds, sprouted greens, algaes, seaweeds, sprouted chia/flax (a big staple), and a moderate level of saturated fat and cholesterol.

Now, since l have healed my body and made the adjustment to the diet, l feel l can do it easy. I must be doing something right because body and mind are far stronger than ever. Many people go raw vegan and they get worse and worse as the years go on. One should get stronger and stronger on a raw vegan diet as Lou and Dr Clement talk about, and they can.

Yes, l often am amused by his insistence on vitamin C. I say that he shouldn't need it, but he always gives me some explanation of why it is very important.

I hope you give the vegan diet another go one day. Obviously you are like many in that a high carb low fat diet is not suitable for you. I feel you may be able to make it work if you do more fat and less carbs like Dr Coisens suggests. Why not give it a try and see how it goes.
