Gina you are entitled to your opinion, but as a former vegan myself, that ate a strict vegan diet for 3+ years, i think im more than qualified to be able to discuss my own diet thank you.

Show me one of these so called "vegan herbal traditions". As someone who has studied herbalism for over a decade now, ive yet to come across one strict vegan culture in my research, yet there are plenty of successful and sustainable vegetarian cultures such as in the far east and India.

Lol come on Gina, just because i critiqued a simple piece of Brian Clements information, doesn't mean im "picking" on him. All i said was that many of the foods that Brian Clement promotes such as Klamath Lake Blue-Green algae are highly suspect and if he knew what he was talking about as much as you claim, then he would have read the bulk of the scientific research which agrees Klamath Lake algae is toxic and quite probably dodgy for human consumption.

Veganism doesn't work, this is the main issue here and plenty of people are getting hurt following these quite probably unsafe and unproven diets such as 80/10/10.

If you want to eat a strict 100% plant based diet go ahead, but don't try to censor and stop people from discussing the scientifically proven potential pitfalls from eating in such way.

You say the reason why veganism doesn't work for some is a money issue, in that they can't afford all the latest and greatest superfoods, which is just nonsense im sorry. No healthy diet is reliant on supplements.

The clue is in the name, supplements are to supplement an already healthy diet and lifestyle, they are not to substitute and provide basic essential nutrients, which your diet should be providing.
