With all due respects, I feel it is time to start
talking about DIET & HEALTH here again!
I understand if people want to post about Dr.
Doug and the Fasting Problems. The topic is still
interesting, but it should not totally dominate
the discussions here.
I have given my opinions clearly on the Dr. Doug
situation. I am open to hearing more.
But lets start discussing Fruit & Healing and
Health topics again also.
I mentioned the topic of Banana Island. I would
like to know who has been there the longest.
I know Dr. Doug uses the concept for various
reasons with clients, etc.
I know one guy I met here years ago who did
nothing but bananas for two weeks and it solved
his ulcerative colitis which he had suffered with
for over ten years.
I've been seriously 811 for over seven years. I
have been totally raw for about the last two
years.
I do not have any physical issues to speak of.
But I have issues with overeating. I tend to eat
too many calories and it does not work well for
me either. I do a lot of "emotional eating,"
especially at night.
I think I could use a good break and I feel like
I might be ready for Banana Island, a place I
have never really been to.
I love watermelon and have eaten numerous and
many this year, and now it is Orange and
Tangerine Season.
But I need a break from all the calories.
BTW, I totally disagree with Harley and Freelee
on that topic (the idea you can never eat too
much fruit). I feel it is important to eat your
comfortable level of calories and not
overindulge.
For some people it hardly seems to matter, but
for others it is a very important rule to keep in
mu=ind.
