Thanks for asking Paul; I'm not around every day
, but have been watching and posting occasionally
for 5+ years, same time as I've been 811 vegan.
I cannot claim to have been ever 100% raw during
that time, but my deviations are slight.

In a typical week I have a huge salad most days,
say 5 out of 7. Greens are my favourite food,
but fruit is a must for calories. My fruit
intake lacks variety - basically dates, grapes,
tomatoes. I also drink pasteurised juice.

Perhaps 3 or 4 days I will have steamed greens,
less frequently potatoes. The cooked item always
mono, with salad :) About once a fortnight I may
have a salad sandwich (dry bread stuffed with
veg). But I always feel worse for grains.

Despite giving up several times, I still drink
caffeine, mostly in the form sports drinks. So I
cannot claim to have followed Dr D's recommended
diet, though I remain 811v and always will.

I also take daily B12 drops.

On reflection, I feel much much better for the
diet. All my life I have suffered from frequent
and intense bronchitis and my temperature reached
dangerous levels many times. That is a thing of
the past; I'm clear in the last 4 years. But
"detox" symptoms lasted toward 18 months.

After some thought I feel the only problems I
have with 811 have been caused by not being fully
mono. It's when I'm very hungry and grab some of
this, some of that, whilst preparing something
else! Mixed leaves in a salad are ok, but I have
to keep mono with fruits or starchier steamed
veg.

I still promote the diet to anyone who asks. But
in 5 years, I've not encountered anyone who is
motivated enough to take it on, or would even
consider going vegan.
