We discussed many of Dr Gregers videos for years over on living food support forum. Other than the 40 year old vegan having a heart attack video i cant remember another time that i have seen him talk much about the pitfalls of strict plant based vegan diets.

Or most vegan educators for that matter, Doug Graham just ignored these potential issues completely or tried his hardest to censor them.

Dr Greger has many good videos on the benefits of plantfoods, but he is far from perfect. Often he will jump to conclusions whilst not having the research data to support his own beliefs. For e.g his assumption that eating watermelon would be just as effective as l-citrulline supplements for erectile dysfunction, despite having no data to prove that. He jumps the ball in many of his videos especially with the word "cure", again he often doesn't have the research data to support his use of the word cure for these conditions.

At the same time he also does alot of good work highlighting the studies and health benefits of many plantfoods, herbs, spices which go un-noticed.

But he does have an unhealthy bias towards animal foods and for the many minute points he argues, often it isn't in context for the study data he supplies. They studies will argue against high consumption for eggs whilst Dr Gregers opinion is to eat none at all. None of these studies recommend to remove these foods completely, infact often the same studies he provides will conclude that doing so leaves one at risk of developing certain nutritional deficiencies such as vitamin b12, D, zinc, iodine, calcium, iron, DHA, taurine etc.
