TBK, come on, if anything, Jesus makes it more alive.

Lou Corona was dying at age 21, when he prayed to be shown how to heal. He specifically had been praying to Jesus.

His room filled with light and a light being came up to him. It told him to abstain from flesh foods and eat living foods. He was an omnivore at the time, and had sometimes been a winner in eating contests.
But the being also showed him his past negative emotions and unforgiveness and how he had to love and forgive and bless everyone in his past that hurt him.

The only exception I take to the story is that the being said to eat living foods, but it did not say to eat ONLY living foods. The way I interpret the advice is that when you want to heal a bad disease, one should use living food. However, I do not believe that the advice is that one must always live on such food, as most people do not have the time or money to do so. Yet, the advice still stands about how to heal.

The next day, a power came and revealed some passages in the bible to Lou, including the sections in the Old testament about how some animals are unclean to eat. The interpretation Lou got was that it's best to abstain from animal foods, but if one was going to eat them, then one should avoid unclean animals, which include shellfish, and all animals that do not BOTH chew the cud and have cloven hoofs, etc. What's interesting when you read those passages is it is apparent that God is trying to help humans avoid toxins and pathogens. I wish meat-eating CHristians and Jews would take those passages and apply them to their current diet, because if "clean" animals are so toxic today, then why wouldn't God also view those animals as also abominations, namely those coming from factory farms?

Regarding the death of the raw diet...I think that is silly. I think it is simply a fallacy to call cooked food a poison. As JOhn McDOugall explains, starch has allowed civilizations to grow, namely cooked starch. The raw diet is timeless and will never die. PRobably what did die was the fallacy that cooked food is poison. I have seen people hurt their spines and teeth through demineralization by trying to be 100% raw vegan. It's fine to be 100% vegan, but not okay to starve if one cannot be all raw all the time. Look how many people heal on a 100% raw vegan diet and then later add some cooked food just for sustenance. It's not a death of the raw diet...it's just an application of it.

Hats off to Lou and Sproutarian for being 100% raw.
