Yes I eat my greens. I mostly eat organic spring mix with fresh
squeezed lemon juice. And lots of ripe tomatoes. I don't eat
greens every day but probably two out of three days.
Yes I keep my salad simple. I don't indulge in any of those multi
ingredient concoctions personally.
I also eat raw zucchini either by itself or possibly accompanying a
salad or greens and tomatoes.
Sometimes I will skip the greens and just eat tomatoes by
themselves. Or I will eat zucchini with tomatoes or by itself.
Sometimes I will eat nothing but fruit all day and night.
I'm not against people eating some cooked vegan food at night. I
think the vast majority of 811ers Do that anymore. And I think it's

I am wondering how many people try to remain 100% raw
I hear you about Doug and basil. I think his original book
disdained all such foods. But he came up with some kind of a
menu thing some months ago that actually included garlic and a
few such items. I was quite surprised.
I don't know if he personally has begun using some of these
items but I don't think it's a big deal although I do not do it and I
don't recommend it. At least not if you want to do this in the
absolute best way. Perhaps that menu plan was something they
devised for the mainstream people.
I don't rule out the idea of my indulging in some salads or
creations at some point that might include basil or maybe some
herbs, like Kristina seems to do. But ultimately I imagine I would
gravitate back towards the purist route that I have come upon
Thanks for the tip about the Facebook page or group. I will look
into it.
However I am starting to feel a lot more positive about this site
now that I have figured out how it works.
