I experienced feeling tired and spacy after eating the 811 way as
well at first but I had the luxury of being able to sleep when I wanted
so that's what I did till I got through it.

A long time ago I tried the Ehret method and wasn't aware of the
calories needed so was eating less than 811 recommends but I
didn't feel tired or spacy then so I think that you would be better off
just eating enough to where you're comfortably full without stuffing
yourself so you don't have too much sugar hitting the bloodstream
too quickly. Another way to balance the sugar out is eating greens
with your fruit again just till you're comfortable. I really think too
much emphasis is placed on getting a certain amount of calories in
each meal when one is starting out on this path. Even if you have to
eat more than 3 times a day I think you'd be better off.

I have a feeling the depression may be related to your body
overcoming multiple addictions rapidly. I'd suggest reading Arnold
Ehret's book The Mucusless Diet Healing System and learn how to
control the speed of your detox. He provides details of how to slow it
down with certain foods when you need to. It's not the easiest book
to read for most people because English wasn't his first langauge so
you have to read through the lines to find the pertinent information
which unfortunately a lot of people are unable to do.
