Censorship is making false claims of being world renowned nutritionist (, and then deleting any stories of health issues of followers and going after those displaying concerns about it (

Moderation is needed indeed. I fully agree that a health-related forum should adopt responsible information sharing practices. Readers have the right to be fully aware of the limitations (including those of the owners). Not making these limitations transparent and explicit is what leads to vulnerable, naive readers (eg teenage girls) following dangerous advice on nutrition by quacks.

The responsibility lies in the owner of the forum to ensure that a right (responsible and ethical) set up is in place. The responsibility of the members is to promote freedom of speech and responsible information sharing, and being vocal if these are violated eg when the owner acts irresponsibly or unethically. Following a quack, supporting a quack, allowing a quack to operate, are all various ways in which one can contribute to a bad outcome, the blame for which cannot be put purely on the quack. A forum exists because of the members.
