Although I was a featured testimonial in Doug
Graham's 80/10/10 book, I still never liked the guy.
His arrogance and egotism always rubbed me the wrong
way.
I knew information like this would eventually
surface, because I knew it was out there. I had
spoken with a number of people who experienced mild
to severe health problems as a result of following
the diet. Most didn't have the courage to speak out
publicly. I'm glad Leah did.

I was in the 80/10/10 circles for a long time. I
can't even count the number of people I have been in
contact with, who continued to blindly follow Doug
Graham's cult-like advice even when their health
began to fail. I have to include myself in that
group. I would be lying if I didn't.

Harley's low-fat vegan approach is much, much
healthier. It's so much less restrictive, which in
itself is a lot healthier. It also contains more
protein, more salt (which is a VITAL nutrient,
contrary to popular belief in these circles), and
more nutrients, due to the wide variety of foods.

It's hard to believe that Harley has turned into the
go-to health coach in the raw/vegan community. But
it's for good reason. He is wise, communicates
well, and speaks his mind.

I haven't been on this board in years, but was happy
that a friend turned me onto this whole Doug Graham
debacle stuff today. Hopefully one day, Doug Graham
will sit down and do an honest, open interview or
video. But, a guy so full of egotism and arrogance
is highly unlikely to do such a thing. It's a
shame, because if he did, he may get an ounce of my
respect. Right now, he has none.
