I still recommend a 100% low-fat raw vegan diet, but feel free to experiment and do not be hard on yourself if you go outside Doug Graham's recommendations. Keep it simple, like I do with mostly a cutting board and knife. Raw equals undamaged, which is what you would want if you bought any product. It is about bathing your cells in this highly nutritious environment. I observe that my hair is looking healthy and will continue to observe myself. I have been doing this for 3-1/2 years. Take your time doing it.

I think that the problems with the water fasting come from pushing the body too far. Doug could offer several shorter fasts, with recovery between each fast, for a lower price. The body has its own agenda and can only tolerate so much. He should be more attentive to his fasters. If they are in pain, how does that equal resting? Fasting is supposed to be resting. I would stop fast and do more shorter fasts.
