Yes, Doug's promotion of the water fast on youtube with a blocked comments section is tremendously disappointing. It doesn't appear he has learned anything from the recent Leah disaster.

The big question is, why isn't Doug changing his policy by introducing blood testing and having various experts to assist on the fasting retreat to ensure this never happens again? Does he even care? doesn't appear that he does, or is he in deep denial and trying to justify the events in his own delusional thinking? There could be a bunch of different things going on in Doug's mind, but whatever it is, it is not very good. I tend to think it might be a bit of denial and not caring, and this seems obvious to me because he is ignoring the outrage here and on youtube and is continuing to go about his business like nothing ever happened.

It does not look like Doug has learned and changed his ways, and that does speak volumes about the man's character. No matter, his reputation will be damaged from this recent event and made even worse by him appearing to not want to fix the problem by making the fasting retreat more professional. Doug's appalling behaviour on this issue will come to bite him, he is trying to fight it at the moment, but he can't get around this unscaved because his reputation and honour have been shot to pieces.

Doug's 80-10-10 diet has failed for many people and is trashed all over the internet and his fasting retreat has been trashed. He doesn't have much left anymore, and people are not going to let him or other people forget his failings. Doug thinks he can get his way out of this, but the more he denies and fights this the deeper he is going to sink.

If Doug admitted mistakes and tried to right his wrongs the past could be forgiven, but he seems to take the approach that many weak people take by refusing to achowledge the problem and change for the better. And once again, the recent promotion of the fasting retreat with blocked comments on youtube was a real kick in the teeth to many people and showed us all that this man doesn't have the integrity required to earn the respect of many as a leader. Very very sad.

Never mind...Doug is being exposed and his reputation is in free fall. This is the karma coming back to bite him, and l am sure it will get worse for him. Hopefully other health leaders will take note of these recent events and try to lift their game. This unfortunate stuff involving Doug, Leah etc will serve a good purpose...all this will not be for nothing, l feel sure something good will come out of the other side of this ugly saga.
