I used to not eat salt, but I wanted to experiment outside the 80/10/10 raw vegan diet. Salt is constantly being added to the ocean from land, so I am taking it back to land. The bad part of sea salt is that too much causes me to have loose and fast stools. The good part of sea salt is that it stops muscle cramps and skin pimples. Too much sugar causes me to have pimples. It works instantly on muscle cramps after working hard and eating raw fruits, so it is assimilated within seconds, without going through plants to uptake it.

As far as long-term the 80/10/10 raw vegan diet, you can experiment for several years like I did. I am lazy regarding food, and raw is the laziest diet because I do not have to wash or prepare much. I spend much more time eating than I do preparing and cleaning. We have a group of people who go to Raw Food Central in central Connecticut who have been doing it long term 100%, but not everyone. I think that the most important thing is getting enough calories. We buy in bulk, by the case, at Raw Food Central. We have local support at Raw Food Central.
