Gina - l really like that you are open to ideas. I can't have a discussion with most raw vegans due to their blinkered thinking approach, so it is nice to be able to have a conversation with a raw vegan occasionally with more opened eyes.

Me: Actually I am not raw. I am vegan. I am high raw. The day that I knew that I could never be totally raw is when I offered a raw vegan some herbal extracts for an old disc injury and he would only accept raw herbs, not extracts. It is possible for me to take more time to make raw herbs, but it was that day that I came to terms that I will never be 100% raw or encourage 100% raw. I am impressed with people like Maha Sambodhi Dharma Sangha (the buddha boy), who didn't eat for 10 months while he was meditating in that huge tree in Nepal, but aside for people like him, I think trying to adhere to 100% raw makes for a very impractical life. Why do I bring him up? Because the buddha boy was still able to repair deadly snake bites without medicine using the power of his virtue. When a 100% raw vegan can repair their bodies without needing cooked herbal medicine, I will accept that. But if they are unable to repair their injuries on a 100% raw diet, i will not accept their diet as truth.

In any case, I do recognize the superiority of Lou Corona's diet over my existing diet and meeting you has given me the final encouragement to take the leap.

Seriously about the algaes...I know about those controversies about klamath lake. I am glad you are sane about that.
Thank you very much for your time. I am going to focus now on beginning my new diet.
You discuss levels of diet on your website. Probably you see lou's diet as weaker than Brian's. Maybe true. It is less intimidating for me to start there,
