Hi Myra
My diet is nothing special in my eyes, when I look at Brian Clement or Lou Corona, mainly because I am always working and I don't have much time. I am also repaying my student loans, so I am on a budget and can't afford to just buy everything raw, like always pay $10 for a quart of fresh juice. I am looking forward to when I can eat better.
I eat a plant-based vegan diet, gluten free, organic. I try to eat raw when possible, but will revert to starch-based diet when madly in a rush. I love green salads, fruit salads (with fresh coconut milk I make) and chia seed, smoothies with herbs I grow in the garden. I use herbs in my cooking, like when I make rich soup broths that are loaded with minerals. When I eat starch, I prefer vegetables, like kabocha squash, spagetti squash, pumpkin, yam or potato. I am a person that will always want to try every kind of vegetable. I will make bean soups, especially black lentil, black bean and blend them in the vitamix and stir in fresh veggie juice. I make black sesame tahini quite a bit. I also make raw black rice and blend it with citrus to break it down more, but I also use other sprouted grains too.
Okay, I hope Lou Corona does not read this. I am striving to change, Lou. But sometimes I am so busy and I might have to cook for a bunch of people on the spot.
I grow wonderful medicinal herbs in the garden and I am blessed to make healing smoothies with fresh aloe, comfrey, goji leaves, peppermint, etc.
