Hey Gina,

I’m sorry to hear about your friend, but it’s good to hear that he’s willing to make some changes. In addition to making the major lifestyle changes most of us know about, he should also look into using cannabis oil for both the tumor and the inflammation.

Here are a few articles on the subject from my file on Brain Tumors.
Marijuana Has Anti-Cancer Properties
Saturday, July 25, 2009 by: David Gutierrez, staff writer

(NaturalNews) The active ingredient in marijuana appears to target cancerous brain cells for destruction while leaving healthy cells alone, according to a study conducted by researchers from the Complutense University in Madrid, and published in the Journal of Clinical Investigation.

After examining the brain tissue under an electron microscope, the researchers discovered that THC treatment resulted in death of cancerous cells but had no effect on healthy ones. The researchers were also able to discover the signaling pathway by which THC acts.
Cannabinoids Kill Cancer And Our 'Government' Has Known for 36 Years

"The New York Times, The Washington Post, and Los Angeles Times all ignored the story, even though its newsworthiness is indisputable: a benign substance occurring in nature destroys deadly brain tumors," added Cowan.
The Illegal Herb that Fights Cancer

After numerous raids by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, Simpson was forced to seek asylum in another country, but his Web site, Phoenix Tears, still stands. There you can find instructions on how to produce hemp oil, as well as testimonials from people who say the oil has helped them. Mail Online also featured a story of 2-year-old Cash Hyde who was diagnosed with a serious brain tumor. His father secretly administered cannabis oil through his son's feeding tube while he was in the hospital in failing health and the boy experienced a complete turnaround. He has now been declared cancer free.
No Wonder It's Criminalized: Marijuana Makes Tumors Shrink and Halts Their Growth
Saturday, September 24, 2011 3:04

Ever wonder why a plant made from nature for all of us to enjoy is criminalized? Look no further than the wheels that turn government -- namely greed and corporate profits on behalf of big pharma. After all, why else would something natural be banned? In this case, because it helps prevent cancer. Researchers in Spain have discovered that marijuana makes brain tumors shrink by halting the growth of blood vessels that supply the tumors with life.
Marijuana cannabinoids slow brain degradation and aging, reverse dementia: here's how
Thursday, May 23, 2013 by: Ethan A. Huff, staff writer

(NaturalNews) The human brain contains an extensive network of special receptor sites that modulate nervous system function only when activated by the appropriate cannabinoid compounds, many of which are found in abundance in the marijuana plant. And emerging research continues to uncover the unique role these cannabinoids play in protecting brain function, which in turn helps deter the aging process and even reverse the damaging effects of Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia and cognitive abnormality.

One of the latest discoveries concerning cannabinoids involves their ability to act as antioxidants in the brain. Researchers from Germany found that the brain's cannabinoid system is fully capable of not only cleansing damaged brain cells from the brain, but also triggering the production of new brain cells within the brain, a concept that contradicts years of conventional thinking about how the brain works. Cannabinoids also supercharge mitochondria in the brain, which are the powerhouses of energy that maintain proper cell function.

Published in the journal Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society B, these discoveries shed new insight on how natural marijuana cannabinoids hold the capacity to literally quell the brain inflammation responsible for causing cognitive decline, neural failure, and brain degeneration. By supplying these receptor sites with cannabinoids, patients may be able to overcome brain conditions like Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, Huntington's disease, and many other conditions, not to mention premature brain aging, all conditions for which modern science has failed to find real solutions.

"I've been trying to find a drug that will reduce brain inflammation and restore cognitive function in rats for over 25 years; cannabinoids are the first and only class of drugs that have ever been effective," said Gary Wenk, a professor of neuroscience, immunology and medical genetics at Ohio State University (OSU) who helped with the research. "I think that the perception about this drug is changing and in the future people will be less fearful," he added, referencing the fact that marijuana is still viewed mostly negatively by many people.
Medical cannabis proves miraculous for terminally-ill pets

"I cured my dog's brain tumor with cannabis oil," wrote one affirming commenter. "It took only 3 1/2 weeks and both seizures and hallucinations have stopped. It's now been almost 6 months and she has had no recurring episodes."

Peace and Love........John
