Hi Gary

Thanks for asking this. Should i interpret your question as "you have not learned much from this story, but are interested in"?

If so, then I have this suggestion to you:
1) Open up this discussion on 30bananasaday forum.
2) Encourage a respectful, transparent discussion.
3) Invite former members (who were aware of such stories) to participate.
This would be a sensible and worthy investment of anyone's time, which hopefully would prevent such stories emerge in the future. This would also be most appropriate since the story specifically is about an ex 30bad member.

Also, may I add that if one censors stories out of the fear that they will damage the reputation of the diet, the opposite is true. Censoring stories, bullying, banning and threats is what creates the damage, not only to the reputation of the diet and its promoters, but also to the health of individuals.

Further, note that there is no THE fruit based diet, but fruit based diets, as there are many various ways one can do it.

As far as my personal learning, Heather's story reinforced, amongst others, some key factors for me eg:
* Being critical of the information
* Respecting the body signals
(I share the details in my articles)
