That was beautiful. Thank you. This raw community has needed
that voice or years.

I say this because at one time you actually listened to me and
this is the last time I ever try to help you. I knew you and
defended you for a long time before I quit and hoped to vanish.
Disappearing was never possible because every time something
bad happened someone would contact me (this instance being a
prime example.) Health would start failing or someone heard of a
fasting accident. Someone new would track me down to ask why
I left or what rumors I could confirm. I could never completely get
away from all the chaos you leave in your wake. Since the day I
quit all I've wanted was freedom.

This is my plea to you.
For many years I knew you to be a man of excessive pride and
arrogance. I also know you to be incredibly kind, giving, and
supportive. Now of any time in your life is the time for humility.
Don't give your stock defense, that immediate impulse to absolve
yourself from blame, we always have a responsibility to own
when we're in any exchange with another person. Your defenses
are your weakest link and this is one opportunity to do strength
training. There is as much love on this board as there is anger
and fear, and it's time to face it. More people will respect you in
the end even if they don't continue to trust you.

This may be the hardest room you ever face, the tallest mountain
you've ever climbed but you love a challenge (or at least you
made most of us believe we should.) Everyone here deserves
communucation, they've been supporting yours and your family's
lives for years. Be the guy that made it hard to quit, not the guy I
wish I could forget, and some healing might actually happen

Like you once told me as I struggled on a Costa Rican mountain
run "Dig deep."
