This is the second death that I know of that has happened during one of your events that happened because "they didn't disclose" a certain condition.

You mentioned during the 80/10/10 culinary clinic that a woman died because she didn't disclose she had diabetes and now this one was because she didn't disclose her heart arrythmia which caused her to collapse during the walking tour which is the "episode" that you refer to.

True North fasting clinic requires a non-refundable fee of about $400 to be paid by a potential faster for a physical before the fast which would screen out diabetes.

They also monitor potassium levels during a fast and end a fast if they get too low. Perhaps this person had too low of potassium levels that weren't detected from fasting 3 weeks that would have contra-indicated a walking tour for a 65 year old woman?

Are you going to put some controls in place for precautionary measures to prevent these types of occurrences in the future? True North doesn't charge as much as your fasting even does and yet they have them in place and have an impeccible record.

We're glad the partner was treated well and has no ill feelings. We also hope that this type of situation doesn't happen in the future.

To not connect the dots between a 3 week fast and a death 2.5 weeks later is missing the fact that people have fasted and died after they broke their fasts before. If she was "better" as you say, then why in the world would she have died by some "episode" of heart arrhythmia.

That makes no sense. It's clear she was low on electolytes that needed to be replenished more before she started on a walk through the jungle.
