Subject: Any tips for NOT gaining weight when you quit?

I started smoking a year ago when I was going through a bad breakup. I was afraid of gaining weight, so I decided to smoke instead (how stupid am i?) Anyway, I just feel icky all the time and am tired of wasting SO much money on cigarettes. Although I only smoke 5 - 10 cigarettes a day, the $$ adds up quick!
I'm going to quit this Saturday Sept. 4th, cold turkey. I decided that because its a three day weekend it would be perfect. I want to do a three day fast while I'm quitting to really rid my body of toxins, but am worried that after this fast I'll gain a lot of weight.
I already have enough trouble keeping my weight in check, I don't want to have more. Does anyone have any tips for me? I would greatly appreciate them.
