Yes. I know of a study conducted at Cleveland Hospital
that stated that Total Cholesterol under 150 removes
cholesterol from arteries, reversing disease.

I started Vegan style about 8 years ago, after a test
in treadmill showed schemia (lack of blood in a
reagion of my heart). After that I became Vegan. My
total cholesterol came down to about 120 from a high
of 200. I had 3 exams (1 with PET image, 2 images with
radio isotopes and last month a new exam with just
treadmill to avoid radiotion). I had no schemia in any
of these exams.

I suggest you to find a Doctor that can help you to
see if your case could be resolved with statins, vegan
style and exercises. That seems to be working for me.

I gave up of blood pressure pills, becaus BP
normalized after loosing 18 kilos, gave up of statins
because of side effects. I had more other benefits
like better digestion and less reflux. Each person is
different, but I believe Vegan style is better for
older folks...but with a disclamer that each person
better take a professional advise... I am not a
doctor. I am glad that my doctors understand Vegan and
heart diseases. Not all of doctors know it. Here in
