I also misquoted Dr. Esselstyn. In reviewing his video seminar, he actually recommends a variety of leafy vegetables each day, and only for a 3 to 6 month period for his cardiac patients as a way to augment nitric oxide production when they need it most.

He does hit the kale pretty hard in his speech, but I did misunderstand.

I don't have a support group yet, so I read and play the materials over and over. The first time I tried the Ornish diet, I didn't fully understand and comply, even though I thought I was doing great.

I used to be an English Major'd think I'd be better at reading for the point.

One more reason to start a support group of my own.
