While kale may be one of the most beneficial greens, we recommend all leafy green vegetables.

With the greatest respect and affection for Dr Esselstyn, our view is for all things in moderation. While consuming two or three normal size portions of any vegetable day should be fine, the effects of mega-doses of almost anything may have unwanted consequences.

Each individual's physical and medical condition may result in a different tolerance to any dietary input, but these are usually unremarkable unless taken to an extreme.
