That makes perfect sense.

I remember after reading Ornish's book the first time around in 2000, that my compliance was not complete (I realized later) because I simply didn't fully understand what I'd read.

I was eating things with added oil, but calculating out the per centage of calories from fat, eating simple carb breads, and even eating packaged foods that contained dairy as long as I could make the per centage of fat fit the diet.

Despite my imperfect efforts, I still much quite a bit of improvement.

Later I read your book, and Dr Esselstyn's, and better understood what oil, and animal fat and protein were doing when they hit my bloodstream, and that my diet needed to be _compensatory_ in order to assure reversal.
