That is contradicted by Dr. Essyltyn, Dr. Ornish and Dr. McDogall, so I figure the majority wins. However I do use the 30 calorie per serving almond mild for cereal and in recipes using milk. It does have a couple of grams of fat, so I use it sparingly, but it may be a good way for someone to get some of the beneficial effects of nuts, while still keeping fat percentage at 10% or below. I have been using it for several years and there has been no change in any of my important numbers.
