Yes, Sheri, there is good reason to believe that the reversal program can work for you. (Of course, every person is different and this forum can only recommend, it cannot give individual medical advice.)

Nineteen years ago after what doctors told me was a "mild heart attack", an angiogram revealed 100% blockage in my 'widowmaker' and 90% and 85% in the other two major coronary arteries.

I've been following the program faithfully, no lapses, since then and I get in better shape each year. At 77, I walk faster than almost every person on my four mile walk every morning, lowered my cholesterol from 372 to 116, my critically high blood pressure to 110/60 and feel great.

It's not just diet, though. Regular aerobic exercise (just daily brisk walking is enough) and learning how to manage stress are essential parts of the program, as well.

Drs. Ornish, McDougall and Esselstyn have many hundreds of patients that also have been able to reverse their coronary artery disease and are doing well more than 20 years later.

Falling off the wagon is falling onto a crowded highway; you'll get run over if you don't get back on the wagon right now. And if you don't get run over, that highway usually leads to the hospital or the grave.
