Let us know if you lowered your total cholesterol to less than 150 as advised from many sources. What kind of tests did you do when you got the CAD diagnostic 6 years ago? What kind of tests you got after those 6 years? Treadmill? PET Tomography? Others? Did you compare both? All in the same machines? With same doctors (best for comparing results)? What tests make you to understand you did not reverse your CAD?
Did you have a heart attack in that period? Stents? By Passes? Other kind of events? Do you take medicines?

I do believe that it is possible to arrest and even to reverse Coronary Artery Disease, at least partially, if you go Vegan and Very Low Fat food. I have being discussing what is “CAD Reversal” with many doctors and persons. All of them are surprised to see my tests results “before and after” (please see my post on that). Most of them do not like the word reversal, as in Portuguese it has a slightly different meaning (returning to the original point and not just direction reversion, as it may be the meaning in the English language. In English to arrest the disease, I understand it could be a start of a reversion, right?).
The best concept of reversing CADs is first of all to become almost heart attack or stroke proof and second at least to arrest CAD. After that it is eliminate or to reduce angina symptoms. From my objectives, reversal it is not only to arrest CAD but to have stress mill tests without ischemias. In such cases it would mean that even when our hearts are at a top of BPMs (in my case > 180 BPMs) the heart continues to be well irrigated by our better arteries due to unclogs, collaterals, vasodilatations, etc. My doctor said that I am in Primary Prevention of CAD and not as in Secondary Prevention and the chances of a heart attack are similar than of those without CAD of same age.
I wish you all the best and if possible to reverse your CAD. Losing weight as you posted it is already a very good thing, what you agree. Congratulations for that! Do your doctor believe on Esselstyn, Ornish, etc? Does he help you in your health objectives?
