Very few people are in need of protein supplements.
unless your physician has told you that you need one, it's best to avoid them.

More health problems occur (in industrialized countries) from consuming too much protein than not enough.

If you're eating a well-balanced plant-based diet, including whole grains, legumes (beans, lentils), leafy greens, fruit and root vegetables, you should be getting all the protein needed, even if you do intense aerobic exercise every day.
