Thank you Dr. Pinckney for answeing my question. I want to stay 11 percent or less on fat . I have just been on this about a week anyd already had an event last night. My husband stressed tINGo me not to go from wading in the pool to diving . He says I should cut back for a few weeks before diving in. My blood pressure went out of sight it would not register on our monitor. So of course he thinks it is the plforant based diet doing it. My thoughts as this was going on how do others do about starting . I'm use to eating ALOT and SNACKING which has resulted in alot of weight gain. I am diabetic and have cardio vascular disease . I don't see the word diabetes used much but would hope the plant based diet would be effective for me also. My cholesterol was 160 when taken this month (May 2010)before dieting but AIC was 10.2 Would appreciate your advice.
