Hi Herman,

I had a look at the Rip Esselstyn youtube videos and at the book. On
the videos, there was some avocado on two dishes, which Caldwell
Esselstyn says is completely out for those with heart disease.

Was afraid (and still am) that it is one of those recipe books where
one has to minutely examine every recipe to make _certain_ that they
comply with Caldwell Esselstyn's stricter version of the same diet.

Which is a royal pain.

As is now having two versions of the 'Esselstyn diet'. Only one of
which guarantees "heart attack proof in three weeks." Whereas there
was formerly only one - the one with the guarantee.

Again, a royal pain.

Sure, as an introduction, a toe in the water, it is great and perhaps it
will be a bigger factor in changing the US diet than his father's book.

But it is a pity that it could not have been done while keeping the two
versions completely easily distinguishable for those who are _dead_
certain that 'this little bit certainly can hurt.'
