It's a "game". It is available for XBox, Playstation2, and your personal computer. When you put it in for the first time you will create a new profile as a "new client". You do a fitness test that measures your lower body strength, upper body strength, cardio level, weight etc. And then the virtual personal trainer "Maya" will recommend a workout schedule and routine. So for example, for me she recommended I work on cardio (as opposed to strength training, weight loss, flexibility etc) and then said that I should workout 3 days a week for 45min. Then I chose the days and customized her recommendations. On Tuesday, the day of my first workout, I put in the disc and had a wonderful workout. It's much like a workout video that is customized to your needs and level. It also has the ability to incorporate a few equipment items if you have them available. Each workout is different and focuses on a different area. Then the game tracks your progress. It is really good for keeping you on a schedule because after you meet your workout commitment three times you get a reward (a new workout location and new music) then after 5 times etc. It's really amazing and fun. It isn't like a workout video that is always the same thing. Maya will even ask you how you are feeling and take that into consideration for the workouts!!!!
