After reading what you wrote, the thought struck me that maybe you crave meat when you are stressed and under emotional attack is that it is a form of comfort food for you. You can learn to replace the meat cravings with some other form of fulfilling activity. Go on-line, exercise, take a walk, pick up a hobby or do some yoga.
Make sure that you are eating a well balanced food plan and are getting enough nutrients as well.
