First of all hi and welcome. Second, education is key to living a thriving life as a vegan. Through education you will learn that milk has been shown to being a contributing cause towards osteoporosis. Yes, that's correct. All those commercials telling you that "Milk does a body good" are sponsored by the American Dairy Council. If you want to learn just a little about how milk contributes longterm to osteoporosis then get a copy of Mad Cowboy by Howard Lyman.

Ok, now that I got that off my chest let's move on. What's this about no veg friends? You have plenty on this board. Are there any earthsave chapters in your area? Vegetarian Groups? Trust me, there's got to be one. If there isn't, start one. I'll bet there are plenty of guys and gals like you searching for like-minded people and the support that you will give to each other is immeasurable towards countering the naysayers.

Anyway, you didn't mention where school was or I would have done a search for you. I will check back on this board in a day or two and if you mention the school, I'll do a search for ya.

Go Vegan!!!
