I have been battling with trying to be a vegetarian for over a year. I first tried to go vegan and I lost 10 lbs in the first month. But going cold turkey like that only made me binge, completely ruining my diet. I have been on and off for the last year. It feels really bad too, because I am fully aware of the cruelty, the diseases, health issues, steroid injections, you name it but I was still addicted to meat, just out of habbit and familiarity. And the things we were eating were new, forced, and tasteless. (ruffage)

But for some reason over the last month, when I stopped trying so hard (only to fail at it) and just listened to my body, I have no desire to eat it any more. I have a lot more energy, my stomach does not hurt in the morning after a heavy dinner, giving me another excuse not to exercise. It just feels better. Not only that, I am not embarrassed when I am eating something unhealthy out in public. When I have fruit or something I want to display it proudly!LOL

But seriously I think I stay on this and many more sites to stay motivated and communicate with people just like me.

Thanks for the support,
