Beyond Plant-Based Diets - Podcast

Husband and wife team - physicians Alona Pulde and Matthew Lederman - have made very significant contributions to the plant-based health panorama. They starred in the seminal documentary Forks Over Knives and have written a series of bestselling books for that franchise and others. They have been involved from the ground floor in the Whole Foods Market health initiative programs, and have proven again and again the importance of diet and exercise to maximize health.

But that is not the end of the story. Plant-based diets are where healing begins - but not necessarily where it ends.

Today we're bringing a podcast interview with Matt and Alona where they discuss the "next level" of health, which involves your personal relationships and focusing on "nonviolent communication." This is what can bring the best outcomes, and is, they believe, the future of medicine.

Listen to this fascinating podcast to learn the new ground Matt and Alona are focused on for bringing the most effective health knowledge.

Stop Eating Poison - John McDougall MD

Years ago John McDougall MD devised a simple system to achieve excellent health - just by focusing on “green light” foods and avoiding the “red light” ones.

Dr. McDougall shows how to reverse disease and help ensure longevity - simply by eating beans, corn, pasta potatoes, rice and other starches and veggies, while avoiding or minimizing other foods that can compromise your health.

Others have since immitated his system - the highest form of flattery! :)

This is Dr. McDougall's full talk from our 2014 Healthy Lifestyle Expo.
