You just reminded me that among the treasures growing old in my pantry is a slim jar of either lavender or violet jelly; it is probably the latter. I have been wanting to do something with it. The perfect thing, in bygone ovo-lacto days, would have been to make little meringue cups and put the pretty jelly in them. I once did that with homemade lime curd. I think it needs to be used against something white, ideally. Hmmmm. I may have to wait until my Venusian gets here and then show him the jar. I can pantomime my question if we don't understand each others' languages right away. Rainey
