Your welcome! I thought it would be valuable for fellow vegans. Saddly, I am sure there are problems in other states too, though they were not in the test.
They seem to have put a lot of work into it. It seems that a lot of it stems from poor labeling from veggie meat manufactrures in China. It seems that there is a chance that some of the restraunts may not know and are trusting the labeling, as many of us often do.
Though, that Green Leaf restraunt, seems to be flat out deceptive.

I live in So. Cal. and have never been to the Green Leaf restraunt, or actually any that failed the test. I did hear rumors about the Green Leaf restraunt before they did the test though.
One of the restraunts that passed the test, Vegan Express, have had rumors for years that their pancakes were not vegan, like they claim. They may have passed the test, but the rumors were that the pancake mix contained whey and the test did not test for whey, just casein.

Oh, for anyone who didn't get to read the whole long article it did say that effective July 1st. a new labeling law would be effect in China. Of course since it only on started a couple days ago it will be awhile to see if it is effective.
