quite a few of our residents are in fact on the newer atypical antipsychotics (yes, they have black-box warnings, but these are highly aggressive people; that's why they are in a place with 3 doctors and a psychiatrist on full-time staff)and so many of their meds would't be on the GRAS list - but luckily, I don't directly help with med admnistration. the nurses do that. It's more a matter of guilt-by-association, kind of like being the janitor in the weapons factory rather than the line worker making the weapons. and you may be right...
at all events, my responsibility to my animals means i can't go until they are placed.
