Subject: taking nominations for best '60s peace/anti-war songs
Date: October 16, 2007 at 1:49 am PST

Today's times sure are bringing back memories of the 60s -- all the
protests I attended, love-ins, sandals, beads, bongs, peace signs,
badmouthing Tricky Dick Nixon ... okay, I lied. My memories of the 60s
are things like getting a teddy bear for Xmas, sitting in an ant bed
and having my dad have to rescue me, and playing with our dog, Bip. I
was 5 when the decade ended. I still like the rock and folk music from
that time. So I'm taking nominations for the best peace/anti-war songs
from that decade. Here are my nominations:

For What It's Worth -- Buffalo Springfield
Let's Get Together -- The Youngbloods

Your turn ...
